Introduction

If you've come across these words, it's likely you feel the weight of pornography like a shadow on your back. Perhaps you've promised yourself again and again that it would be the last time, only to find yourself, days later, once again caught in the same cycle of consumption, guilt, and frustration.

Or perhaps, you want to help someone who has fallen into this addiction. Either way, the resources found in this short book may help someone get out of this porn world once and for all.

Pornography is rampant all over the world, and getting out of the porn trap is something that many genuinely want to achieve, but have not been able to. Below, I will leave you with a list of methods that you may have used, but they have not worked for you.

Using willpower Use pornography blockers. Confessing the problem to someone you trust. Read about the consequences of viewing pornography. Count the days without watching pornography. Delete applications.

Some of the above “solutions” are not bad in and of themselves. For example, telling someone you trust about your problem could help you compromise your way out of this addiction. However, it is not foolproof. In fact, falling back after telling the problem is common, as simply saying you are addicted will not cure you of this disease.

This text is a foundation for quitting pornography by understanding one main thing: as difficult as it may seem, you can quit.

Inspired by The EasyPeasy method, which explains that pornography acts as an addiction, creating an illusion of pleasure that makes you come back again and again. It's based on the principles of Allen Carr's EasyWay, which has helped millions of people quit smoking. Carr argues that a smoker doesn't enjoy cigarettes; they use them to relieve withdrawal symptoms, a never-ending cycle.

Similarly, the StopFighting method invites you to simply stop fighting.

Instead of seeing pornography as a monster you must defeat, understand it as a deception. Once you realize it brings nothing positive to your life and that your life will be much better without it, the desire to consume it will disappear.

Please, do yourself a favor and read to the end.

Do you feel you need to watch pornography? Do you feel you’ll never stop watching pornography or masturbating? Do you think pornography is a necessary part of your life? Do you believe that without pornography, your life will be boring?

If you answered yes to at least two of these questions, let me tell you: You will stop watching pornography, and even stop feeling the need to consume it by letting go of the fight against it.
